Welcome to EGA Aiken!
We are the Stitchin' Belles, a chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America and part of the Carolinas Region. This chapter was formed in 2001.
Our chapter meets in person, every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 10am-12pm, at the Aiken County Historical Museum. The museum is located at 433 Newberry St SW in Aiken, SC. If you'd like more information, or want to attend the meetings (virtual or in person) please contact us at egaaiken@gmail.com.
Or- if you can't make it to the daytime meetings, check out our Twilight Stitchers- 3rd week of the month, 6:00PM to 8:00Pm at a member's home in South Aiken, SC. Please email us for more info!
Chapter Meeting Reminder – Monday, September 1, 2025
Date & Time: Monday, September 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Trinity on Laurens, 213 Laurens St NW, Aiken, SC 29801
Our next meeting will take place at Trinity on Laurens since the Aiken County Historical Museum will be closed for Labor Day.
This will be our "Stitch-in" meeting, grab your needlework and join us for a casual stitch-in! Members participate in a variety of needlework projects involving techniques such as cross stitch, needlepoint, crewel embroidery, hardanger, and beading.
After the Meeting:
Once our meeting concludes, a group of members will be heading out to eat together. Please feel free to join us for some good food and great conversation!
We can’t wait to see you all there and catch up on your stitching progress.

Chapter Meeting Reminder – Monday, September 15, 2025

Location: Aiken County Historical Museum
This will be our business meeting, where we’ll review both old and new information. There will also be a show and tell session, so bring your current projects to share with the group.
Special Feature: We will have an EGA website tutorial where we will see how to access all of the benefits of the EGA national website including where to find free projects, education courses available and more!
Show & Tell: Bring any new finishes or geometric styled projects.
After the Meeting:

Can't join our daytime meetings? Hold on to your needles, we're announcing the return of our Twilight Stitchers!
We will meet Thursday, September 18, 2025, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, location at a member's home in South Aiken. These evening meetings will be similar to our daytime meetings, minus the going out to eat afterwards. See below for meeting agendas, and please contact us for exact location- egaaiken@gmail.com .

Join us Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10am-noon for a casual stitch at Lowe's Foods in Aiken (2940 Whiskey Rd). We'd love to see what you're working on! You don't have to be a member of the EGA to join us for this event.
