EGA Aiken Stitchin' Belles Programs 2025

•  January: 

Focus: Introduction to the “Go for the Goals” initiative and reflection on the completed projects of 2024.

Show & Tell: Share projects completed in 2024 and any personal highlights.

• • February:

Focus: Detailed discussion of the “Go for the Goals” initiative. Bring in your planned projects for 2025, we will document them (photography optional). Preview of the beaded fringe project later in the year. Also, a presentation of the International Teachers Tour by Maxine.

Show & Tell: Projects with hearts & love themes, or any completed project. 

• • March:

Focus: Spun Silk Sampler – Bring in your completed projects. Discuss any questions regarding the stitches used and explore whether this can fit into your “Go for the Goals.” Should we have another meeting for further discussion? Introduction of the beading project for May.

Show & Tell: Bring your Spun Silk Sampler or your favorite sampler if you didn’t participate.

• • April:

Focus: Explore free projects available on the EGA website – should we take one on? Discuss the Stitchin’ Kitten’s Nashville Market new products, possibly with the owner visiting.

Show & Tell: Share any EGA projects or classes, free or paid, that you’ve enjoyed.

• • May:

Focus: Beaded Fringe Project – Part 2 of 4. Distribution of kits and project overview. Bring your favorite tools & tips for the upcoming June meeting.

Show & Tell: Any beading projects you’ve worked on.

• • June:

Focus: Mid-year checkup on your “Go for the Goals” projects. Discuss favorite tools and tips.

Show & Tell: Update on your progress with “Go for the Goals” projects.

• • July:

Focus: Christmas in July – Distribution of small Christmas ornament kits. Consider adding a Christmas-themed project to your “Go for the Goals” initiative and bring it for documentation.

Show & Tell: Any Christmas-themed projects

• • August:

Focus: Beaded Fringe – Part 2 of 3. Workshop and show your progress.

Show & Tell: Share any projects from the summer.

• • September:

Focus: Geometric Needlepoint Project – Distribution of kits and Q&A session.

Show & Tell: Any geometric needlepoint projects.

• • October:

Focus: Felted Applique Workshop with a Fall theme. Distribution of Hobby House kits and project overview.

Show & Tell: Fall/Halloween-themed items.

• • November:

Focus: Lecture on retreats – sharing experiences, tips & tricks, and discussion of whether they are worth attending.

Show & Tell: Thanksgiving-themed items. Hobby House kit if finished.

• • December:

Focus: Annual Luncheon and Ornament Exchange.

Show & Tell: Celebrate the holidays with your favorite projects.

• • January 2026:

Focus: Follow-up on your “Go for the Goals” projects. Document any completed projects or share progress. Possible prizes for achievement!

Show & Tell: Share your “Go for the Goals” projects and progress.
